Looking for advice on plastic cement
Hello fellow railroaders!!
I am attempting to scratch build a Vanderbilt tender for a future layout I want to build. I am using Evergreen styrene for 75% of the tender and Plastruct butyrate half-round plastic for the tender tank. I am, sorry for using "I am" so much, having issues getting the styrene & butyrate to form a strong bond. Here are the plastic cements I have tried so far:

Updating JMRI for a new decoder on the market
I just got my Bachmann SC-44 Charger, and have really been enjoying it. However, I was wondering how people update JMRI for a new decoder. While this is TCS' WowSound, the interface is much different than the aftermarket TCS' that I'm used to, and selecting anything else from the list sets up the locomotive incorrectly (in JMRI). Is there a way to update JMRI with this new entry, or will I have to wait until JMRI is updated with the new Bachmann/TCS decoder?
Thanks!

Testing paint pens.
Last week Roger Kujawa posted (https://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/41200) a great video tutorial on painting freight and passenger car wheels with a paint pen. Roger used a Woodland Scenics Track Painter. I haven't found one of those locally, and they're over $10 on Amazon.
Oddly enough, about the same time Roger posted the video, I was buying a Testors Craft paint dark brown paint pen at a local general goods store named Bi-Mart. According to my receipt it was $5.19. I tried it out this week, and it's kinda dark, and a bit glossy. Good coverage though.
Need help with easement; resolved.
I need to have an easement to a 42 inch radius. My longest car is a passenger car that is 11 1/2 inches. I'm trying to figure out how long the easement should be so coupled cars going over it look good.

Less is More! WIP.
Weekend WIP! Tearing up the tracks to the downtown area on my layout, Trenton Subdivisionin N scale. The area was too crowded, removing some of the sidings, opening up some space and adding additional feeder wires. Less is more!

BLI Wheel Problem(s),...corrosion?
Yesterday I got out of storage the first articulated steam loco I ever bought,...a BLI 2-6-6-4, N&W Class A. Its been in storage for a long time as I experienced some wheel discoloration/corrosion problems with it not long after I got it, .....and I haven't had a layout to operate my locos on for a long time.
The wheel discoloration problems is still there,....and short initial test on a roller track, it appears to affect its electrical pick-up.
