The N Scale Square Pine Lines
I have been in the armchair mode for a while and after harvesting as much as I could from videos and articles, I have begun this small 1x1' N scale diorama to work on new methods of modeling. More at https://www.facebook.com/ponderosasub
Valence for Suspended Ceiling
So in doing a search, I didn't see much. Maybe there's stuff out there but thought I would post for info. I didn't want to tear into my ceiling tiles to hang a valence so I found some fairly cheap hooks on Amazon - about .50c/hook. All it required was a wood frame to hold everything. My plan is to hang vinyl flooring strips as the valence as I saw in Chris Adams' Post. Mine is probably not the best way to do this but it's working for no
Pumping Functions at Oil Products Dealerships
I'm using the Walthers McGraw Oil Company kit for an oil dealership on my 1920s-era railroad. It's obvious that the functions of the two buildings provided in the kit are to contain (1) office space and (2) a pump to feed oil products from the storage tanks to the delivery pipes that fill trucks in front of the buildings. What isn't obvious is how oil products are pumped from the tank car unloading standpipes and ground pipes to the storage tanks.
Fuel tanks for mechanical reefers
Hello People,
Can you tell me where I might find reefer fuel tanks or has anybody seen some plans to build the same?
Thanx Steve Klein

DC - DCC Control box
I want to be able to switch between DC and DCC for my layout. DC mainly for testing locos before DCC decoder installation. The layout is portable, with the ability to hook up with my modular club so the control box needed to be self contained and portable. My system is all DIY, based on DCC++ and a MERG Booster. Here are a few pictures of the completed project and a link to my website with full details.

Midland & Dorchester — N Scale Shelf Layout November 2020 Update
Hey guys, I hope everyone is having a great start to the holiday season so far. Here is the November 2020 update on my n scale shelf layout. Thanks for taking a look!

What is your opinion about best way to make Super Trees.
It is tree making time and I opened up the first box of Scenery Express Super Trees. I was planning on spraying the trees with grey primer, then spraying diluted matte medium on them, and then sprinkling the leave material. I also thought I would try the hairspray technique. The instructions that came with the trees however, says to soak the trees in diluted matte medium and then sprinkle the leaf material on from above and then allow the trees to dry upside down attached to a clothesline. This seems complicated and messy.

Update: Less is More WIP
The track into the downtown area on my layout, the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale is laid and ballasted. I removed several sidings to give the area a simpler, less cluttered look. More below.
