Hi all,

I am looking for opinions from other CVMW track users on how they have gone about painting and weathering their track.

I have seen how some paint the track sections prior to laying, and then also how some lay the unpainted track first then paint and ballast, then lay rails.

I am particularly after thoughts on using oil based or water based paints on the ties, and painting the rails either by airbrush or paint pens (Floquil/Woodland Scenics).

What if Alco and Westinghouse had been influenced by a Swiss design?

Hey everyone, I know that Bob can be really busy, and I did try emailing him, but I got no reply.

Couple of quick questions, I have figured out most of the parts (none removed from the brass sprue)...

1: where is the frog light and stand?
2: were is the smokestack?
3: where is the brake line that runs front to back?
