Construction Journey (ICG St Louis District)

First shots going forward.    These are sections from the old layout.   Much modification ahead.    GMO711

Oops.

Since I now have a respectable length (~60', N-scale) of mainline laid, including a runaround at the far end, I got the rolling stock out and started to run some trains. Which means I'm finding things like dodgy track work and this:

Double-stack won't clear mousehole

And that, children, is why your NMRA track and clearance gauge is your friend.

Custom DCC Throttle Holder KIT

Found it on EBAY, precision laser cut hardboard/masonite, glue together and paint. Allows FULL access to all Digitrax Buttons without taking the throttle out of the pocket.  Nice product.  Only $3.00 and comes in two models for Digitrax, engineer and full size.  Other DCC brands supported as well.

My latest weathering project photographed on my freelanced, BN South Olympic Branch.  Enjoy!

Conductive glue

Has any one used this adhesive? I have a ME turnout that my frog led has come off ( poor solder joint). I can reach the solder pad on the ME from under the layout, ply and foam, I'm trying to avoid a tearout on the top side of my yard. Any help appreciated.
