New England Photo Backdrops
In my modeling Southern Vermont in late fall after the leaves have fallen, and the fact that I live in Montana now, I am faced with a problem. I cannot simply walk outside and start shooting photo backdrops for my Vermont Railway - North Bennington Division layout. Being a photographer myself, this is something that is driving me nuts!
Removing Athearn GP50 Body
I bought an unpowered Athearn GP50 (Athearn #77841) and I can't figure how to remove the body. I have other Athearn locos that the bodies are removed by prying under the little tabs on either side above the fuel tank and springing the body up.. This GP50 doesn't have that feature. There are four slots on the underside of the fuel tank that appear to be for tabs possibly to retain the body to the frame. Can anyone help me on this.
Great Find at Menards
Found this little 1/43 Plymouth truck at Menards for $5.00! After some modifications I have a pretty decent looking vehicle for my On30. All I done was add a wood flatbed/rails, wood sideboards, scuffed up paint/weathered and add some junk in bed. Not bad for five bucks and about an hours worth of time.

TT Scale Tank Car
Hello Folks,
We're looking to produce a ready to run tank car for our next venture in the exciting world of TT scale. A 16,000 gallon funnel flow tanker seems to be just the right fit. Popular enough to have been throughout North America, carried a number of commodities, well sized for smaller TT layouts and has a nice modern appearance for "the new TT". However, other than what Walthers says about them I don't know much else.

Problems with loose weight
I have a Walthers Airlside hopper that has a loose weight, which is causing it to lean heavily to one side.
The carbottom is glued in, so I'm not sure how I will access it.
Any suggestions?

Small On30 layout for showa
A bunch of old guys need help. Because of age we have sold our 8' X 20' layout and would now like to build a smaller On30 Layout. We have an average age of 65+ and find we need to scale down.
The layout will go to about 12 shows a year as well as our own show. This year will be our 26th annual show.
It has to be a run around for the mainline, have a brewery and several other small buildings. We have 4 modules that are 2' X 4'. we would like to connect them to form a 6' X 6' square with a small hole in the center.
