Trackwork

Turnouts and Arc Faults
The house we have bought is rated at 50 amp service and is getting updated as soon as I get all the price quotes back to a 200 amp service. At the same time all of the wiring is being update along with the hardware.
It turns out that something called arc fault detection will be included into most rooms including the bedroom designated as the train room. I have no issues with safety. For those who don't know about this, if a spark is detected by the circuit the fuse is blown, shutting down everything on that circuit.
Reversing loop wiring help
So this single issue has been holding me back for over a year now. I have pretty much a double track going into a reversing loop. I have attached a picture of the trackwork and a diagram of where i have gaps and wires. With it hooked up this way, my DCC system immediately shorts out.
Flex Track Curves
Wondering if any good tools out there for laying flex track curves.
I have some sectional 24" radius track that I was going to use, but after putting it down and putting my passenger cars on it that I might run into issues. I don't have the room to really run 36" or greater, but was thinking I might be able to get by on 30" even though they won't look totally right, but given my limited space I would still be able to run them.
I run HO scale and will have a 9x11 layout that goes around the walls.

Busy Weekend
It was a busy weekend in our house between kids activities and sleepovers, regular household duties and having some visitors over. Between all of that activity I managed to get the DCC booster and transformer moved to their permanent home on a shelf under the layout. I found an old shelf from a home entertainment center that was not being used for anything to house the electronic gizmos.

Christmas Tree Train Project
Hello!
I'm looking for some advice on my elevated train project.
I haven't had a train since I was a kid (and that was awhile ago) so I know nothing about building layouts.
I recently purchased the Lionel Polar Express Remote Train Set - O-Gauge, and an additional Lionel - FasTrack - Straight Track - 4 Pack so this gives me eight curved 0-36 FasTrack sections, seven 10" straight FasTrack sections, one 10" FasTrack wall-pack terminal section in total.

Spur track problem...
After gluing down a spur track and testing it with a free-rolling car, I noticed that the car wants to roll just enough out of the spur to foul the other track. There is just the slightest slope, of course in the wrong direction to this spur. I think I will need to remove the track, and rasp down the foam to give it a little slope in the other direction. But, that is going to be a pain so I thought I'd ask if anybody had a better solution. So, do you?
