Diesel Handrails (1/87.1)

Guys,

Our first two handrail kits are ready to go into tooling.  They are CNC formed stainless steel wire.  One kit will do one locomotive.  Each kit covers all variations for that type of locomotive.

MSRP is $12.49 USD with pre-order pricing reduced 15% until the product release.

Thanks,

Christopher Howard

Salem Filters - DP 6203

Guys,

Stan sent me comparison images of our Salem Filters (DP 6203) next to a comparible detail product.  The filters we sell are cored for wire as shown and combine injection moulded parts with photo-etched brackets.

Clean Air Room Bases

Guys,

Here are T1 sample images from our clean air room bases.  MK 5000 or MK 5001.

The MK 5000 will work with the GP35, GP38, GP39, GP40, GP38-2, GP39-2, GP40-2, GP50 and GP15-1.

The MK 5001 does the SD38, SD39, SD40, SD45, SD38-2, SD40-2, and SD45-2.

How this system works is you take the correct base and add our clean air room sides which are multi-layer photo-etched which will give you the match for your prototypes weld lines and drain holes.

Developing Penn Lake's Locomotive Roster (pictures repaired)

At first my Penn Lake Railway, didn't have locomotives of it's own, using it's parents' power.   At the time, I didn't want to piece the lettering together from alphabet sets, or go throught the cost of custom decals.   Then, I stumbled onto Champ's (moment of silence please ) private name sets, which allowed me to easily create Penn Lake lettering.

Locos - Rolling stock

Hello All , Kind of new to railroading-- still in my first year! I'm lookig to Buy/manufacture Power "pick up" type wipers.Ie; I want to convert some of my HO Scale, wagons/coaches/tenders/cobooses etc to power their own on board power, could be for ; lights /decoders/sound etc.

What is the preferred method? Where can I get such an animal? If I have to make my own where do I purchase the material etc. I'm running on DCC, command-- ZEPHYR.

Thanks in advance

Prototype is sloppy too!

Please check the poorly applied decals on the gondola at left:

Building the Fleet

While it's true, I don't really have tracks to run a train on, one of the things I enjoy about this hobby is the wide variety of activities it includes.

In that spirit, while waiting for the glue to dry on some ballast on the first module of the Barre Branch, I decided to grab a car kit, and get started building the fleet. I'm going to try and keep my car builds contained within this thread, we'll see how well that goes!
