MRH Troubleshooting
Untrusted Connection
Seeing a banner at the top of one of the blogs "Yes, it's a model... (click to learn more)" I decided to click and see if there's something new to read. Instead, I'm presented with the following message:
This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to model-railroad-hobbyist.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Blah, blah, blah.
Videos from older issues.
I have been reviewing some of my older issues and find I cannot access some of the videos.
It seems the videos on Joe's Zip Texturing are no longer on Blip-TV. Have you moved them to another site?
Finding older posts
I am having some trouble navigating this site. Just yesterday I saw an amazing post or blog about someone kitbashing D&H steam engines. Someone asked for an update on his progress, that was how I came across it. Now I can't find it. I don't know who it was that wrote the article and using the search yielded unsatisfactory results. So my question is twofold: What am I doing wrong and how can I find that post? Thanks in advance for any help.

Issues not opening up correctly after downloading
This may be a just me thing, but the April, May and June issues are not opening right on my computer. For all the other issues in my MRH folder there are covers, I click on them and they open. These three issues are blank, when I click on them, a new window opens up and ask me what program I want to use to open it with. I click adobe and everything works fine after that.
Just wondering is anyone else is having this issue.
Thanks,
Steve Black
Digital Big Boy Troubles
Greetings all, just wondering if any one may be able to help me out??, I recently picked up a Riverossi Big Boy, the digital version, which came without a manual, or a programing guide. The problem is that I cant get to go, I have tried everything in dcc, but nothing happens, and in dc it moves, but there is no control over the speed. Hopeing someone out there may know something, thanks in advance,......Jim
Image rendering Problem MRH Magazine
I usually read my MRH in iBooks on my iPad. Occasionally some images do not render, a slight inconvenience. However with the May 2013 Landscape issue the problem had far greater impact. Not only was I not able to see one of the circuit diagrams in the DCC Impulses article, but the majority of the images in the Freight Trucks article did not render.
I decided to conduct some further tests. Using the same file every time ""39.MRH13-05-May2013-L.pdf" I discovered the following:
All May issue problems now resolved
At this point all the issue download problems have been resolved.
Earlier today we had an outage on our Primary server and a file naming glitch caused the mirror to have problems as well - the perfect storm.
Everything is now functioning correctly again.
We also had a problem with May issue where some images and diagrams were not showing up on Macs and iOS devices (iPads and iPhones). That problem too, has been resolved.
So if you were having problems downloading, try it again - it should work this time.
