Would being the Yardmaster at a Coal Marshalling Yard be a boring job?

Opinions on how to do a repair
Item: Athearn SW-7 locomotive, converted to DCC.
Finished painting, DCCing etc, but no have an issue.
On the ends, the coupler has the standard Athearn metal clamp over the chasis tongue. Since this is an engine, the tongue is metal, not plastic.
The tongue has a couple of knobs, one on each side, for the metal clamp to snap over. On this engine, 1 of those knobs is now gone.
2 possible fix its I can think of:
1. Super glue the clamp to the one side.

Idea for fascia shelf and car card billboxes
I recently brainstormed with my mechanical engineer brother the whole fascia-mounted operator worktable and billbox configuration. We turned the pencil/pick holders perpendicular to the fascia so they could be serve dual-purposes as the structural braces for the shelf. We landed on this design showing two choices for the shape for the pencil/uncoupling pick holders:
What About the Caboose?
As I'm in the midst of building a new layout and don't have any track down yet, I'm relegated to running virtual trains on my track plan with my track planning software. A while back I asked some questions about how the prototype would handle cuts and pulls on a road freight pulling into a local yard. The answers I received were really helpful. But I find myself with another question now.

Lubrication
I'm getting ready to assemble trucks/gearboxes on a couple of Stewart FT units, I'm interested in recommendations for the type of lube to use. I read about the new high tech Nano lubes but do they really justify the cost verses the good old standby Labelle.
engine not moving
Hello, not sure if this is the correct place for this, but I have a question regarding a 1986 New Bright Wintersville express (I believe G scale) that my grandfather gave us a couple of years ago. The engine will come on and light up, but the wheels won't even make a full rotation as if they are catching on something or need lubrication. I have put new batteries in as well. Any ideas how to fix or find a new engine? Ebay does not have this particular engine without having to buy the whole train. Thanks for any tips.

Container Crane
Hi Everyone,
Since containers on railroad is a big thing in the modern era, I came across this video from Heljan. I think this is awesome ! One operator can do this full-time on a layout:
