Lubrication
Tue, 2014-12-09 08:35 — Bill Lane
I'm getting ready to assemble trucks/gearboxes on a couple of Stewart FT units, I'm interested in recommendations for the type of lube to use. I read about the new high tech Nano lubes but do they really justify the cost verses the good old standby Labelle.

I have not used the new nano
I have not used the new nano lubes but have had great luck with the labelle grease, Atlas conducta lube, and neverstall at different places. I use a tiny amount of each at different places.

Nano VS Labelle
I have used the Nano oil some and have found it to be a good lube.
It worked well between two plastic surfaces. I thought it was an improvement on traditional dry lubes.
It also worked quite well to lubricate my Glock 17. I have not tried it extensively though.
You don't need very much to do the job.
How it compares to Labelle? I can't really say.
