Locos and rolling stock
Genesis 2-8-2 and 2 sound decoders not working well.
I have an Athearn Genesis 2-8-2 that was straight DC.
I run my layout with the NCE PowerHouse Pro radio system.
I installed a Soundtraxx ECO100 steam decoder and at first it worked fine then after a bit it would cut out, restart, cutout when running over speed step 10. I had no issues if I ran it on speed step 10 or less.
In search of HO rs11 fuel tank
Hi all. Small favor to ask. Does anyone have a spare atlas/kato rs11 fuel tank in ho they could live without? I bought one that was missing a fuel tank thinking it would be no problem to get the part from atlas but they do not have one and ebay has come up short as well, if you have one and are willing to give it up let me know. Will glady pay ya for it.

Unloading Woodchip Hoppers
When railroads switched to 100T coal hoppers, some railroads converted their 70T hoppers to woodchip service. Would these be unloaded using the gates at the bottom of the hopper or with a rotary dumper? Would it depend on the volume? Would it vary by paper mill?
3 axle passenger cars
I have 3 axle Walthers trucks on some passenger cars. The mid axle has no side ways movement, and as a consequence, the cars derail. Any solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks. foalma.

RTR 1920's tank cars? which are good
I'm starting a search for one or two tank cars suitable for 1929. I would prefer ready to roll. The number of domes is not important, be it 1 or more. It will be carrying petroleum products, and the industry doesn't need them all that frequently. The empty likely won't be hauled away at the same time the new one is dropped off. Industry will most likely be a boat yard on a river in Maine, or interchange with a narrow gauge line.

N Scale Micro Trains Truck & Coupler Conversions
I'm in the process (almost complete actually) of converting all of my rolling stock over to Micro Trains (MTL) trucks and couplers. I would eventually like to swap all of the wheels for Fox Valley metal wheel sets but we'll see how things go in the near future.
While the Micro Trains website does have conversion lists available when swapping from Atlas Accumate (or other manufacturer) couplers to the MTL couplers, what I'm looking for is a list of what car types should have what MTL truck/coupler type.
