Locos and rolling stock

Big Boy 4018

Hey all, nother used loco question for ya'll.

I found a what appears to be 2 year old Athearn Genesis Big Boy for sale for what seems like a reasonable price. It's a single owner loco, and he started to renumber it to 4014 before realizing that changing the number boards and shield was a bit more of a process than he realize, so the only thing changed is the number below the cab.

DUPX 8 axle tank upgraded & backdated with photos

I built this car 10 years ago and decided to upgrade it. I added Archer weld lines, ACI tags, early cots and several older decals. The large Dupont logo came on the cars when new, and were removed during repaint. The final step was weathering. The photos didn't show, but just click the addys for a large photo.

Thanks for looking, Bobby

Instruction Sheet for Proto 2000 Alco PA

I'm looking for a copy of the instruction sheet with exploded parts diagrams for a Proto 2000 Alco Pa. I believe the model is the early version from about 1995. I've searched the web but haven't found anything.

Bachmann Peter Witt

So along comes a closeout sale and an HO Peter Witt DCC at a rock-bottom price.  I couldn't pass it up, having had more than one in my hands at train shows but always thought there'd be issues for something so small and put it back (sorry N scallers..).

Need Some Help

Need some help with a prototype research for a possible modeling project. This will be scale pecific. There are none made in this scale. I have been doing some research on the Southern Pacific GS series of engines. Of the six series of engines, GS-1 through GS-6 there was a use of 3 different style drive wheels, spoke's on the GS-1 to Boxpok drivers on the GS-2 through GS-6. I'm looking for engineering drawings of the GS-4 Boxpok. They are different form the other GS series. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bernd
