Scenery and structures

Guess what I found while attending the Cleveland Ohio.
There may be some who will recall a few years back I lamented over where to place a single track horizontal lift bridge (one that lifts up staying level with towers on both ends of the bridge). I had originally wanted to place it in Pittsburgh but discovered it would never have been allowed due to local ordinances dealing with barge traffic on the rivers in the area.
Hanging signs from buildings
Hi,
All over the city you see these little A-framed steel structures holding hanging signs. Does anybody know if these are available in kit form? Anybody have any tips or plans for scratchbuilding the little guys?

Walthers offers one on the top of the hobby shop in this kit but I am unaware of them for sale separately:

Gator Foam as a sub base for a large building. Questions
I am looking over the article in MRR magazine entitled "Meet Gator Board", May 2005. Based on this article, I will be using Gator Foam to provide a sub base for a large paper mill building. The building is about 36" by 10". I will be using it under the pulp building and pulping tanks also. (The building are kit bashed from the Walthers Kit)
I have a couple a questions regarding two areas of construction using this material:

Scratch Building Tall Structures
I am looking for an article that showed up in the print MR press that showed how to build a multi story building using card stock and styrene. I have no idea where to look and am hoping that someone here does. It was a more modern building and had no brick to it at all.
Hoping and thanks, Jack
Micro Engineering City Viaduct
I'm using Micro Engineering City Viaducts HO double track to build I long elevated train of about 10'. I will be following the manufacturers directions.
Can anyone lend any assistance as to the methods they used for attaching sections and attaching flextrack (which is curved). The curve is very slight.

FRP for backdrop - Questions (was DuraFlash questions - now FRP)
