How to lay Micro Engineering flex track perfectly straight over long runs.

How has anyone laid Micro Engineering code 83 HO flex track perfectly straight over longer runs of say 25 feet?

Looking for some advice on dcc++

hey guys

I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to convert a model layout to dcc++ now at the moment it requires 9 operators to run or 9 sections would I be able too run boosters after booster or multiple dcc++ units I’m using an Arduino at the moment Thanks Josh Btw this is the layout in question picture below

Tillig track & turnouts

As I mentioned just recently I was visiting with Michael Rose this past weekend and he was showing me some of the finer points about the Tillig brand track and turnouts he was utilizing in his current build. I wanted to see what else might have been written about this hardware as we don't see its name that often in American model railroading.

Could that be because its a German product, and we automatically classify it as a European train product rather than American?

It sure looked impressive to me.

Blue Rail Trains Update Video

Below is a link to a new video From blueRail trains showing the new boards.  the board demo is of the larger high power board.

The HO Scale board will perform the same functions but is only 1.5 X .57.

Boards are not shipping yet.  Should be about a month.

ESU Loksound Bell Rate CV

Hello,

I have a HO scale Rapido GMD-1 loco equipped with a ESU Loksound decoder.

The initial setting for the Bell rate is very fast and annoying.

Which CV do I need to modify the bell rate to a slower setting.

I downloaded the Loksound manual for the GMD-1 on Rapido's website, It's quite confusing.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you.

ESU Decoder List - N Scale

I could not find a decoder list that listed the ESU decoders by locomotive like the Digitrax website so I turned to MRH but could not find anything through the search bar.

Would anyone be able to point me to a list of which ESU decoders are best suited for which locomotives?

I'm primarily using Atlas, Kato, Atheran and Intermountain locos.

NCE Power cab not moving loco's but controlling light and sound functions just fine.

Hi all,

Last night my power cab became unresponsive when trying to add a loco to a consist.

First mystery:

Aircraft Warning Beacon

Can anybody recommend a ready to go aircraft beacon with this effect for HO scale? I was hoping to not put a lot of work in on it.

NCE PowerCab Consisting Breaking Speed Matching

Hey everyone I'm stumped and could use some extra input.  I have two Athearn GP-60M locomotives DCC ready that have been upgraded to DCC with a Digitrax DH126 decoder in both.  Other than the body of these locomotives everything is identical.  I used JMRI to speed match them and they will run together nicely.

Loco not moving...

Picked up a used Walthers Proto SD7 locomotive, DCC with Tsunami sound decoder. It powers up and responds to the four-digit address as far as lights and sounds, but it won't move.

Put it on the programming track, reads the four-digit address in JMRI.  Re-set it to factory settings. Works fine on address "3".  Changed just the address to the four-digit locomotive number, and its back to responding to light and sound commands, but doesn't respond to throttle increases at all.

Anything else to try before I send it back?
