Tsunami AT-1000 Install question
Installing a Tsunami AT-1000 sound decoder in an Athearn RTR GP35.
One thing the directions and diagram are not clear on is what to do with the ground wire connected to the frame of the GP35
"Would the ground wire attach to one of the unused locomotive truck power pickup tabs on the decoder?" The RTR only uses one pickup wire for each truck.

Digitrax UR92 location
Is it worth it to install a Digitrax UR92 in the ceiling? I'm thinking about putting one as close to the center of the layout as possible, and mounting it in the ceiling. The easiest place to put it would be near the command stations, but those are against one wall. If I put it there, the farthest away an operator would be is about 30', well within the 300' that Digitrax claims as an effective range. I'm wondering about interference from intervening decks, backdrops, etc. Or does it not really make much difference at these distances?

Wooden Ties
I have a stash of PC board ties from Cloverhouse. I need to buy corresponding wooden ties to complete my turnouts. Can someone recommended a manufacturer of switch ties that would be compatible with the Cloverhouse PC board ties?

Help needed on weird DCC issue...
I have fallen into DCC hell, and I really need help getting out.

Design Challenge: Track Tester for DCC
Having commenced track laying on my new DCC layout I know I will need something to test the track wiring (Yes I know about the Quarter test and I know I could use my multi meter but I have something a bit different in mind). I also know about commercial products such as the RRampMeter but I wish to keep this relatively simple and home brewed.
N Scale Bachmann and Atlas track
I have a large amount of Atlas code 80 track and Bachmann EZ track. Is Bachmann EZ track code 80? If so, how difficult would it be to incorporate both types of track into my layout? I would ballast the entire railroad so the EZ track ballast would be covered up and hopefully there would be no noticeable difference.
Thanks
Tim
Thanks NCE
I sent my radio Pro Cab back to NCE about 2 weeks ago, I had broken the antenna off. When I got home from vacation on Saturday, there was a box from NCE waiting for me. Throttle fixed, no charge.
Thanks NCE

MTH F3-A is silent
Hi everyone. I recently took delivery of an MT F3-A. I have been in the process of laying the track for my new railroad. I have been using the F3-A to test the track as it goes along. Some few days ago, it started up in silent mode. I have tried F3 to start up the sound but I can see that it is responding to any DCC commands except for forward/back. No sound, no lights, no bells or whistles.
Having issues with Walthers dcc friendly turnouts
Having an issue with some Walthers code 83 dcc friendly turnouts. The layout is based on the Cleveland Flats O scale layout. So all turnouts are facing the same way. Currently it's in dc format as I do not have any dcc locos at the moment. The problem is the on my second turnout the diverging leg shorts out as the loco goes over the frog. I've tried everything that I can think of with various results(either loco shorting at the turnout or shorting at the controls. I'm using a mrc tech 6 for power.

Programing sound decoders
I use a digital LENZ on my layout.
I have more and more trouble to program sound decoder.
I know that I can upgrade to last SW version of Lenz but with the number of hand controls I have it will be expensive.
Someone who can recommend a programming booster and if so, which?
Or can Roco Z21 also fix my problems
Thanks in advance.
Regards Hans Ole
