How do I install a keep-alive in the new Atlas S4 with a 21-pin decoder?
Hello,
I’ve sent Atlas two emails about this with no response, and my Google searches have been fruitless, so i’m hoping someone on this forum can help me out...
Please help me find a screw
I have an Atlas N scale SD-24, and while working on it I lost one of the two screws that hold the frame together. The Atlas web site shows the part number to be #480006, and the screw size is listed as 9x2mm.
It's not for sale (that I could see) on the Atlas web site.
I went to my local hardware store where they have a wall of screws. The closest they came was a 2mm x 8mm, but the thread is clearly different, and does not grab.
First Locomotive - R&S #213
Finally finished up the first locomotive. Wasn't so sure about how it would turn out so before I stripped and painted one of my good locomotives I decided to paint an dummy Athearn Blue Box GP38-2 I had laying around. Turned out better than I expected so I added lift rings, grab irons, a brass horn, drop steps and MU cables. I also body mounted the couplers. One of my good friend was nice enough to bestow upon me a chassis which had the lengthened fuel tank and I scrounged up to Blomberg type B side frames. Since I was at it I purchased a TCS WOW kit for it as well.
