JL&T Railroad Blog - Hiding Walthers - Cornerstone Modular Joins...

For awhile now I have been trying to think of way to hide the joins/seams that are left when using Walthers - Cornerstone Modular kits.  I like the flexibility that the modular kits offer, and the fact that the design and layout of each building is only limited by your own imagination and requirements.

But one down side of the modular kits is the fit and the pesky gaps that are left when joining the sections together.

The Monday Night Mail Train

I send out the attachment as an e-mail to thank those who come to operating sessions on the Kanunda & Emu Flat Railway. Also to those who could not make the session and to former operators and friends.

The Monday night mail train is also a record of progress on my layout.

Wi Throttle and Web Server using JMRI

This is a brief video of my first use of a wi throttle and web server panel on an pad. 10 x 7".  I will be working on this and improving my skills and knowledge of the products and hardware. This is how you get started.  Running the Wi Throttle is very easy for any operation.  Controlling the layout you will need a lot of setup before you can control form wi throttle connection through web server.

Saw this posted on a Youtube channel. No more Train Festivals from Prestige Rail Marketing?

"Prestige Rail Marketing in association with Prestige Creative Marketing will no longer be holding the Annual Train Festival as we have for the past few years. Last year was our last event due to certain circumstances. We apologize for any let down for our train fans out there."

If this is true I wonder if anyone else can put something like this together. If you have never been to one of these "train Festivals" check out my channel to see what you missed. I went to two of them and they were awesome.
