Tunnels!
I've finally reached the point of needing to build tunnels - the blog entry below shows my portal-painting attempts and roughed in scenery. It's been a load of fun, and yet another new skill to work on.

The Lone Star Region of the NMRA Marker Lamp Publication has gone all digital and electronic. This publication has been printed in Black & White and Mailed to members for as long as I can remember. Now every one in the World can visit the web site and read the publication and view the color photos and attached videos of the activities of the LSR-NMRA. Hope you enjoy.

New Eastbrook development
The coming months I will work on the New Eastbrook N-scale modules. I already scratch build some structures and some more will be made. As you can see I also have to lay some track.... This is the current status (March 4 2013) and the starting point of the New Eastbrook development :-)
Mastermind Group and the 'Real Modellers Group'.
I was really interested to read the article about forming 'Mastermind Groups'. Here in England, U.K, four of us recently formed a 'Real Modellers Group' (RMG). This was to bring together like minded modellers that wanted to talk modelling and actually model, hence the term 'Real Modellers'. Also, modellers who are interested in investigating new techniques and take a genuine interest in what the other members of the group are trying to achieve and are not averse to good helpful comments being made about their modelling.
A Rose is a Rose is a Rose - But it's not an F7
Due to some physical issues I've been very lax about the layout these days. But that's okay. I like to think of it as a learning period. I'll be the first to admit that I've never been drawn to the dieselization of railroads. Not enough visible moving parts for my tastes. For years I've drooled over Shays and Climaxes and Forneys and other slightly off-the-beaten path stuff.
