Recent Happenings on the EStLRG RR, Part One--Photo #1-An A&S RS# leading a way freight across the Mississippi River Bridge. We are heading to the Cargil Elevator at Dupo, Illinois. Photo#2-The covered hoppers were painted, lettered and weathered by myself for famous model railroaders layouts. Photo#3-I scratchbuilt the A&S caboose, as well as, painting and lettering the CB&Q SD unit switching out the Union Starch & Refinery plant. Photo#4-EStLRG RR RS-1 #5114 switching out the team track. This unit is a former C&O locomotive transferred to it's EStLRG RR subsidiary. See you next time, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout

Love that dirty Alco!

Did Alcos ever stay clean more than a month after being painted? Like the shot of the RS-3 long hood forward!
