Been a while since I’ve had a chance to work on the Engine house. We had visitors for a few days then went out to California to visit family and the new grandson. They treated me to a visit to the California train museum. I'll post some pics of that soon, It was great. Then another round of visitors here. So busy time it was.

An Addition is on its way!
There are going to be some additions made to the JL&T Layout shed very soon...
Hopefully some of the ideas in the photo below can be negotiated into the addition?
Track plan has been updated...
Light and Easy
I have been catching up on back issues of MRH and came across one of the $500 layout ideas. I was struck by several things.
- You don't have to spend a fortune to build a layout
- Making use of non-conventional materials for layout construction
- There is no excuse for not having a layout
- Inglenooks are much simpler yet just as challenging as a John Allen Timesaver
I have a John Allen Timesaver that is almost complete but suffers from several problems.
First blog on the MRH site
Did a video today on the work I have done on my layout in the last month. It discusses the lower level in detail and the small expansion I did on the upper level.
