To All: Railroads post speed limit signs for regulating trains. I captured this sign in Montreal,Canada. It reads top to bottom--LRC (Light Rail self propelled passenger cars), 95 MPH, Regular Passenger Trains, 90 MPH and 60 MPH, Freight Trains. My question is this, are these speeds in KPH or MPH? my colleague asked me for a SP locomotive in "tiger strips". So my answer was quick and cheap - an Athearn Blue Box Baldwin S-12. (By the way that loco has too wide hood)
