3d Printed Flat Car
I found one of those little gems around thingiverse this one being an HO scale flatcar, while to be succesful a resin printer is best those of you with ABS are worth trying it out. It is soaking right now as I speak after printing last night. The car features rivets, stake pockets and other details. I paired it with some 3d printed trucks and the results were amazing.

TMTV sale
Just an FYI folks... TMTV is having a Labor Day sale... I just reupped my own subscription! (and it wasn't even due for a few days yet!)
Trust me... it's worth it! (and no... nobody is paying me to say that... I just think it's worth it!)
West Haven Industrial Rwy. : TOMA or not TOMA
I can't keep my excitement contained.
I just read the September Model Railroader and there was an excellent article on building a operational layout in less than 48 hours. It is a small switching layout. Then I download and opened the September MRH and read Publisher's Musings about arranging a couple of TOMA modules in a 4x10 arrangement. Couple this (pun intended) to the reminiscing article on one man's 4x10 layout (http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/30616) and I am getting excited. I've always had a place in my heart for the 4x8ish layout.

Track Plan in 1'x14' feet
So I know this has ben brought up a lot but talking to my parents I am likely going to get a 1'x14' benchwork space. this will be floating benchwork which I really like but am looking for ideas. these can be rough sketeches or point me to prototype arrangements. I like heavy switching ops and era is 60's to 70's. Looking for whatever you have whether it be city or a town with industries lets see it!
Santa Rita Mini Layout
Hi from Argentina. I live in a small house with my family, and due to lack of space, found this way for have a layout. Is a floating shelf that contains a small switching layout and serves to store other house stuff. I made it taking into account the available space and it was carefully designed to aestetically fit with the existing furniture in my dining room. It works as a decorative piece when not in use, which means 99,9% of the time. For me, is very rewarding to watch my trains when I´m home, and furthermore is like to have a 3D picture in the middle of the room.
Turnout issue...
Okay... I may need a bit of help.
(Bachmann engines, EZ track, and EZ track turnouts with Bachmann EZ Commander)
So, several days ago, I painted, and ballasted, as you know, and my trains have been running GREAT! Even my most troublesome engine (the 4-4-0) was doing GREAT!
However, starting just today (and again, keep in mind, everything is dry and secure... has been for a few days now) ONE of the turnouts started giving me trouble.
