Flatbed Truck Enhancement

Here is a nice small project that I did last Sunday after noon.  A flatbed truck from classic Metalworks looked pretty plain.  I gave it a canvas covered top.

I used .012 music wire that I fashioned into hoops.  I spaced five of these hoops along the bed.  Scale 2 X 6" lumber was also used along the flatbed.  For the canvas, I use a single ply of facial tissue.  Man, that stuff is really thin!

Code55 turnouts

Evening everyone,

My sons and I are building the dan patch railway from the book 101 track plans. Sent a month or so designing on the computer from the anyrail program. The tracks and turnouts are code 55. I have run into a bit of a dilemma. Standstill. Have been looking for the turnouts p/n2050 turnout but I see that they are sold out or backorder. Would anyone have more information on these

Styrene Sorting and Storage Rack

I got a little tired of digging around in my box of packages of styrene strip to try and find the specific size I need for whatever project I'm working on, so I broke out the foam core board and whipped up a little something.

CNW Marshline Model Railroad Layout Update #1

Hey everyone!

We've started construction on the CNW Marshline model railroad! I've gotten some of the L-Girders up and looking to start some bracket construction.  I've created a video that shows my progress.  I also am looking for viewer feedback on an issue I've encountered in my basement.

Thanks for watching!

Keep 'er in notch 8!
