COSCOL Livery
Hi All,
Its been a while since I posted anything about my layout, more to come about that in another post, so I thought I would post some photos of my efforts. These are all unpainted kits that have been painted and assembled. I tackled the Atlas Silverline GP40-2 first and finished with the Athearn blue box mechanical reefer. This may seem an odd choice of order for first projects but in my defence I had six of the Athearn kits and it made sense to do them all at once when I felt more comfortable with the painting. The P-S 60' waffle sided box car is an ExactRail kit.
ESU Programming Help - Program aborts before finishing
Hello All You Programming Experts Out There!
I could use your help. I’m trying to re-program a locomotive with a newer full throttle sound file for an SD40-2. Since I normally run them in a consist of two or three units I wanted to upload a different file to try to eliminate the phasing effect. At the same time I am changing everything over to my new standard function table values.
Restarting the Shoshoni Valley RR
I've been playing with trains since I was 6 or 7, that was in the mid 50's. I switched over to building trains and layouts in the mid 60's when I switched over to N scale from HO. The Shoshoni Valley got it's start then with a 5x9 island layout in my bedroom. By the end of HS I had swapped again to HOn3. That lasted until I graduated HS and left home. I dabbled in HOn3 until shortly after I got married the 1st time and my now ex wife bought me a HO brass loco for Christmas instead of the HOn3 model I pointed out to her.
My late brother would be 59 years old today
What does that have to do with model railroading? Well not much but I was just reminded of a story about him that I may have shared on this forum before but I thought I'd share it again today.
More Space
(A bit of a misleading title ! )
Been working on star ships for my science fiction layout. Check out my progress on the Mines of Xenon. Keep watching - I hope to post even more progress soon.
