Run Like A Dream

I am not successful at obtaining any of the "Other Customer Goodies in connection to the Run Like A Dream Series.

Any suggestions.

Thanks,

The Next Project

While I'm waiting for my recent hobby shop order to be filled and mailed, I thought I would start on the next project. Two things I always have on my layouts are a dog park and a trailer park.

I have seen HO Scale models of mobile homes but to me, they are way to bulky. I would much rather scratchbuild the ones that I need.

The AnneliesVille RR & Navigation Co.

A GENERAL FIRST YEAR BUILDING JOURNAL.

Early Mars 2018 was the actual start of the building of this new Railroad. So what's up one year later since then...

The final track plan as discussed on the first blog: The Building of the "ANNELIESVILLE RR/ LAYOUT DESIGN

A New Month and another Glorious Open House

Our first shot is a brass Capitol Corridor at resting at Davis. Then a WP Bicentenial makes it way through. A BNSF intermodal and Union Pacific Oil head into Sacramento. Then a quick show of some BNSF modern light power in in the mountains and SP four axles into Oakland. Then a E unit Empire Builder and Canadian Steam meet in Richmond.

Progress....slow but steady

Have not done an update in a while as I have been busy working on a couple areas that just didn't work for me. I'll have a detailed video update on my YouTube page next week. But this is what I have been working on this weekend. Getting my engine service area ready for the installation of fuel and sanding towers along with fuel pumps and other assorted materials found around a shortline service area.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions on what you see, please feel free to post them. Always helpful to have insight from others.

No Going Back

This weekend I tore down my old layout modules, cut them to pieces and dumped them outside where they promptly got soaked in the rain.

No going back now!

IAIS's West End - Custom decals by PDC

Since my previous source for custom Iowa Interstate (IAIS) reporting marks has gone out of business, I recently approached Bill Brillinger of Precision Design Co. about creating a new batch, along with some custom artwork for a number of unique secondhand covered hoppers on the IAIS roster.  The experience was so positive, and Bill's expertise helped me to learn so much about my own prototype, that I wanted to share it with you.

More details and photos in the first reply.
