Turntable Help Wanted

I have begun assembly of a Heljan #804 turntable kit. I am not motorizing it, but suspect that the "extra parts" that are not marked may be required for that. The instructions don't say anything. Most are discs and there is some string in the package with the wipers for power. I have no idea how to use any of this stuff.

I have assembled the turntable to the point of attaching part D to C and the whole assembly moves freely as per the warnings. Next, according to the instructions involves the wires, sleeves and wipers.

Scenery Progress

Some more scenery completed, light posts installed. For depth perception for some of the trees I have shaved off half of the foliage. This allows me to place them directly against the back wall.
The pencils stabilize the trees until the glue is fully set.

WIP Update.

Started laying some of the scenery over the weekend. Intermodal scene is beginning to blend into my Trenton Subdivision in N Scale. Tracks are ballasted with some low growing weeds starting to creep on the edges of the right of way. Oily-black weathering powder along the tracks, heavier between the rails.

ADM Update

I guess it is time to do an update on the ADM project as it is almost to completion. It has taken me about 11 months to get to this point. The only thing remaining are a few added details, mainly people and trucks, and the fencing.

The first shots a just an overall look at the project,, with the first photo looking from the ethanol facility and the second photo from the storage silos.
