Working on the final details on the CN Intermodal Yard on my layout, the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale. 
 Work crews have been busy installing the lights and security cameras. 

To create the light poles I used a standard N Scale telephone pole and cut off all the cross pieces except for the top two. The lights are square jewels from Michael’s, attached with a large amount of glue to create the housing for the lights. For the closed circuit cameras I cut off several of the cross pieces from HO scale telephone poles and glued them on upside down. 

The scissor jack is 3D printed by Shapeways. I created the Evacuation Plan sign on the computer using MS Publisher.

Just a few more details and I can start placing the cranes and celebrate with a grand opening.
