ICE Merchandiser

Sitting around with nothing to do at around midnight so I made me some ICE Merchandisers

I will miss the Big Yellow of the UP after the merger

Another Dirty grey SP patch job desecrating the great UP yellow units.

LDRR 4K Video, Screen capture at 1080p and displayed at 720 on MRH 4 Joe

OK,  I know the color grading does not match the layout lighting,  It is a little darker than I (ISO 100 and the camera is a permeant F2) want for the South West,  but we are in a basement that needs more lights.  I know it does not look as clear as you think it should,  but this is 4K Video played on a 1080P PC screen and snipped with a screen capture, then uploaded to MRH and displayed at 720.   I know we have focus issues the camera was set to auto focus and it is a vloger type camera so it seeks out people or a person to focus on in its algorithm.&nbsp

Southern Pacific Style Concrete Line/Phone Booths

I built the basic model this afternoon.  Some parts are a little over sized like the hinges or not possible in the real world like the floating lock.

But once the detail gets too small it is gone when it is down sized to N scale.  So a little large gives it some texture in small sizes

HO and N ready for test prints in Resin

Another large building is being planned. Bekins Van Lines will be in Encanto.

Subject has changed to - Pocket change? For Car Weights

Not sure how this turned into a post on car weights.

Deleted original subject on easy track powering in a non switched location, and replaced it with Pocket change? For Car Weights

Joe Pellegrino - Operations based Layout

I would like to see more information on Joe Pellegrino layout and how he operates his layout.

I do think it was a disservice to all railroad modelers, when Ken said it looks too much like work etc.  That is the perfect way to scare off new operators or people considering operations as the final end goal of the hobby.  If it was work people would not do it. Operations is a game that railroad modelers find rather satisfying and fun to play.
