You have more on your layout

You have more on your layout than I will ever have,  Painted Plywood...My layout is too much just for one person to handle... Fact.  But just focusing on operations,  I can easily handle the size.   So Focusing on a pretty perfect picture for my layout sits way out on the back burner,  Perfect running and operations in the entire focus.

Painted plywood

For Arizona, I recommend Krylon Camouflage Khaki....adding dirt and basic ground foam is quick and dirty,  I can have your layout covered in an afternoon with a lot of Elmer's white glue....

That will take a lot of

That will take a lot of glue,  The layout is much larger than that one map section.   Way to much work for me to get done,  5 or 10 years from now maybe,  but for now.   People just need to bet over it when looking at brown paint and plywood.

As more complex operations start to happen,  most people will not care what it looks like as long as it runs and operates well.

Casa Grande is only a short drive (60 minutes) south of here,  if you feel froggy.

Yard

Have you considered connecting the left end of the AD tracks to the main?  That way a train going to the industry area on the left could depart straight out of the yard.

3D vertical does not show up well on a 2D drawing

Those are two separate locations.   There is also a height difference, Mammoth is 4" higher than Enterprise yard and Enterprise Yard is 4" higher than Salt River Valley Yard.

If you look at the squiggly track behind Enterprise Yard, it is actually a mountain pass on an incline.

Granted at the far right the two meet up and share track pass behind Salt River Valley Yard,  but the track runs behind SRVY and is 4" higher.

Mammoth Cement is served out of Old Pueblo Yard on the lower level.  So it is a trip to get to that location.   I think I said what looked logical at one point is not logical why travel 5 feet.  The layout is set up so that each area in most places is served by a yard that is over 7 real minutes away in railroad travel time.

You will have to get out on the main and run a train to that location.

Great day!

That's what it looks like with those clouds! This really shows what can be done with some simple stencils as a starting point.
