Ah-hah Moment: Make your own corrugated tin

Publisher's Welcome: More MRH Acrylic painting updates

Memory aids.

I am in the process of producing another batch of covered hoppers.  Today I have a number of Bill Berlinger’s fine decals all cut out and a picture of one of the prototype cars lined out so that I can place the decals.  Humph…….  How the heck did I do the decals last time????

Using an iPad as a tool to check alignment of decals and such.

I just recently applied brass numerals and tiny decals to one side of a locos's cab.

I take photos just when the glue or decals are wet to double check.

The tiny decals I had to align by eye and keep double checking and adjusting them.

CA + Resin printed part + accelerator might be trouble.

Just a heads up to test what you are doing first.

I had a report of a problem with a resin printed part disintegrating when these three things came together and the resin of the resin printed part disintegrated.

Cicada Quartet

Four Iowa Scaled Engineering  cicada sound modules are used on this train show module.  It's set up to be motion activated , and two of the toy cicadas used on rooftops have illuminated eyes.  This display will be at an August  fair in Essex Junction, VT.  It's a bit of humor for the casual observer.
