MRH / MRH-RE issue release date going forward: ~ the 15th

BACKGROUND

One frustration our news guys have had is that manufacturers may release a new item from 28-31st of the month but we've already closed the issue off at that point. It takes us about two weeks from issue closeoff to produce a fully tested and (mostly) bug free magazine.

Looking for ad

Hi,

I remember an ad for a new type of rail connector or module rail connector in the magazine, and I can't find it.

It looks like a short length of track that can be repeatedly connected together. Also at angles.

Not the little metal connectors. This was something new.

Anyone know what it is?

January MRH/RE status update

Not to belabor the question asked monthly, but when might we eager subscribers and readers expect the January 2021 MRH/RE issues--perhaps this coming weekend (the 8th or 9th)?

Quicker way to scroll blogs and topics

After a 20 year hiatus starting a new HO layout. MRH is the best of its kind and glad I discovered it. Attempting to go through the archive of blogs and topics. Is there a way to pick up where I left off instead of going back to page 1 again? I'm 70 y.o. and not too saavy. Thanks for any help

Subscription

I just got a notice that my automatic renewal of my MRH-RE subscription was canceled by MRH?

What's up?

MRH Magazine Flash Player Support

Recently I (for no particular reason) took the opportunity to promote my old "Imagineering" Column articles.

I see that Adobe Flash Player reaches end of life on 31st December 2020.

What will this mean for access to back issues of MRH?

December magazines status - target release Dec 4-6.

UPDATE: MRH is done and being rendered now (5:30pm PST). Once rendered then it needs to be uploaded and the pages need to be published allowing access to the Dec issue of MRH.

MRH is currently out for final staff review and Running Extra goes out for staff final review tonight.

Then we place all the ads in MRH and run it through one more click review to make sure the 500+ links in the issue all work properly.

Page breaks in SideBooks

Is there any way to move page breaks on SideBooks?  I always see the magazine with page breaks running down the middle of track plans and pictures. I have to turn the page to see the other half. Turning the iPad from portrait to landscape doesn’t help...I see two pages with half a graphic on each and have to scroll to the next or previous page to see the other half. The plans in Yaron Bandell’s article this month were unintelligible.

thanks

Richard Stern
