December magazines status - target release Dec 4-6. MRH magazine help

UPDATE: MRH is done and being rendered now (5:30pm PST). Once rendered then it needs to be uploaded and the pages need to be published allowing access to the Dec issue of MRH.


MRH is currently out for final staff review and Running Extra goes out for staff final review tonight.

Then we place all the ads in MRH and run it through one more click review to make sure the 500+ links in the issue all work properly.

Once that's all done, we do a final color and exposure correction on all the images, then we render all the videos and upload them to YouTube.

Target release is circa Dec 4 for MRH and Dec 5-6 for MRH Running Extra.

It is good to know what goes into the production of the magazine--it is a lot!. Thanks Joe and company for a great MRH/RE each month.

Did the December issue come out later than planned?

I found a thread started on bonus content for Dec. 2020, and for Dec. 2020 RE, but I don't find a link to the Dec. 2020 issue.

Check the calendar ... we said DECEMBER 4th. It’s not Dec 4th. All those things you list are linked to inside an issue of MRH. They need to exist FIRST so we can put the link in an issue and test it.

There is way more than most of you realize to getting an issue of MRH put together and working flawlessly. So far I’m expecting MRH to hit the site for initial release the afternoon of DEC 4th.

I want to thank all the MRH staff for putting out the best model railroad magazine.

Considering all the stuff that goes into something like this (not simply a printed page, but with links and such), I'm surprised you're still not working on issue #1!

I can be patient when it comes to MRH!

Lost Running Extra bookmark

Sorry for being a dummy. I am a paid subscriber and lost my bookmark when trashing mail and old bookmarks...I do not think I have been getting email notices for each issue. Is there a way to get back on?
