Tenshodo switch machines
I am wiring a new section of my railroad and have reached a point where I need some help/advice. There are several turnouts left needing switch machines. I have been using Tortoise ones with Barrett controls.

Last Project of the Year
Well here is the final project for the year. I Kit bashed a Highway Miniatures Erie B-2 Steam Shovel into a Marion Type 450. HBMS had 10 of these versatile units.
I used almost everything from the kit with the exception of the boiler.
First Craftsman Kit - Campbell Grain Elevator
So today/tonight I began my adventure into craftsman kits. And my first independent model railroad (just bought first house). And all that jazz. I've done numerous plastic kits from steam locomotives, cars, and buildings too.
I received Campbell grain elevator for Christmas this year and after some Q&A my first wall is currently under a bunch of paint cans drying.

Layout Visits & Train Shows
Over the last year plus, I have visited various model railroad layouts as well as working at train shows in the Central & South Central portions of Texas. The video (slide show format) is my way of sharing these visits with everyone. Thank you to all of my MRH blog readers & especially for your comments during 2016.
