Ok, I know that in this day and age of limited runs and pre orders that things change, but I was wondering if anyone knows what's going on with the run of HO RS-1s Atlas announced in January of last year? I've had a Tidewater Southern unit on pre order since then, but their website still has it being delivered in quarter 3 of 2013, which obviously didn't happen. Anyone have any insight?

I have three kits for rolling stock on On30, all three are wood 'laser' kits.

I've never built anything that wasn't metal or plastic before, what's the best adhesive for something like this?

If it was just a structure I'd go with white glue, but rolling stock should be far sturdier as they're of course more likely to handled, i want something that'll really hold it all together.

Suggestions, anyone?

I want to create a steel sheet pilings wall in HO scale, as used in building pits or on harbour quay walls. It consists of trapozoid-shaped sheets, connected to each otheralternating back and front.

Of course I could make a mold for creating plaster copies, but that's a lot of work. I have never seen or read about a polystyrene sheet that comes near this design.

Does anybody has an idea how to make this type of wall?  The height is about 4" and the length about 2'.
