Hi guys,

I need your help.

Some time ago, I've seen some pictures of a diorama; a harbor scene in the 80's/90's, with very impressive details and weathering. It was a short part of a wharf wall with one track in the street, a high concrete warehouse and a truck with trailer. There were two different locos in the pictures, both in the NS design, if I remember correctly.

Does somebody of you know, which diorama I mean and has a link for me?

Who made these HO trucks and wheel sets?

I came across some HO scale trucks and wheel sets that I have not seen before and I am wondering who made them. The side frames and bolsters are metal and they have copper colored springs similar to Kadees. However, there is one big difference, the springs are much thicker than what Kadee makes. Except for the color they almost look prototypical.

Other detail differences that I noticed include the bolster hole for the screw. The top part of the hole is hex shaped.

Last Saturday saw the debut of my SPMW Water Car triplets at the monthly club meet. Still some work to do on them, but they look the part. SPMW 4764 and 4764A (both ex-cab forward tenders) were usually kept permanently-connected at Roseburg for fire-prevention service during the summer until withdrawn in 1983.

No matter who loses the current US elections, I will win. In a few days, regardless of voter preferences, there will be a huge number of orphaned plastic yard signs, which I have discovered make light, strong, easy to work scratch building material. The roofs of several of my large industrial buildings are made from signs left over from a previous election year. With owner approval, I plan to stock up again!
