Special Thank You Video to the Amherst Belt Lines Club and Elliott

What the club and Elliott did was very generous so Adarius and I are very grateful and happy. Okay here is the story, My son Adarius wanted to run a train so bad and he spent a lot of time at the M&P layout and asked if he could run one of my locomotives. He knows the members because we were previous members of the club.

Clean out track

I'm modeling a terminal grain elevator and would appreciate info and pictures of what the clean out track looks like. The era is 1950 so nearly all deliveries are via 40 foot box. I have been able to find a lot of info on elevators in general but not anything about what is needed for the clean out track.

Keep Alive- why so long in coming?

i just had a keep alive installed in an engine. What a difference!  They are capacitors, which have been around for a long time? Why not available a long time ago?

Hump Yard Purveyance

Does anyone know what happened to Hump Yard Purveyance as their web site is gone and phone is not answered? On a second question, does anyone have one of their lever remote switch stands they would be willing to part with? Thanks.

Visiting the Amherst Belt Line Train Layout - Amherst Train show 2019

Truly one of two my most favorite layouts at the Amherst Train Show! The other layout that is my favorite is the Dry Hill Train Club in Mallory! Anyways, The Amherst Club is great because they have a lot of young members showing you that they are kid friendly and that is great!! Well enjoy the video!

I'm tearing down my HO UP Southern Cali Train layout for New home plans

I revealed my spring plans at the train show that I was tearing my layout down and doing a whole video series of tearing it down. It will be the first HOW TO videos about properly tearing a layout down and salvage as much of the layout as possible. HA. The reason for the tear down is Loretta and I have begun the search to buy a new home and have been hunting for the past 2 months.

LAJ Switching Layout West Side of LA River

Finally got a good plan for my LAJ modules. It is a combination of a few LAJ Switch Leads to give a maximum of industry & freight car types for my first modules. The switching side is now built & in my apartment. Have a start on the bridge & then will build the staging yard. My Plan is based on the "old" LAJ on the Vernon & Maywood side of the LA River. Chris Butts' layout is based on the Commerce side of the river but his plan does include the A Yard on the Vernon side. Charlie Slater sent me all 22 of the LAJ Switch Lead Maps.
