Mail order versus hobby store

Retail in the US has been going through a transition for awhile and will continue to for the foreseeable future. There are quite a few mall construction projects that have been put on hold or are in the “rethinking mode” across America, even in this so called great economy. E-commerce has had a major part in this decision making. 

looking for info on the Mill Creek RR

I looking for any info on the Mill Creek RR that was in south eastern Missouri then was part of the Missouri Southern.

Let's go back in time shall we the year was 2002 at the Montgomery Alabama Union station are young model railroader who was attending a juvenile diabetes fundraiser didn't really care about the food or the games or his friends being there he was infatuated with 5 military trains within 6 hours going south more than likely heading to Iraq. Now it's fast forward to 2018. Sitting around at a milsim event. "airsoft war games".

M.B. Klein is closing its doors as a walk-in hobby shop, and going full on-line shopping only as of November 1st.

The writing has been on the (shrinking) walls, but didn't expect it this soon.

RIP Ron Sebastian

   It was posted yesterday at numerous hobby sites that Ron passed away suddenly. Ron was owner of Des Plaines Hobbies . He was one of the good guys we come across in this hobby and will be greatly missed. Condolences to the Sebastian family....DaveB
