Used to do warranty work on the Carrier-Transicold

refrigeration units before I retired in 2006.  I worked on a lot of the units like Intermountain first came out with that had the section of roof remove directly behind the dreadnaught end and the original electric Trane unit and Detroit Diesel gen set removed and a Carrier-Transicold unit truck style unit installed.  I also worked on the big BNSF 92 foot reefers with the platform over the end with a fuel tank underneath.  I don't remember seeing those white ARMN U.P. reefers, though.  How big are they.

It was funny, another member of the model railroad club that I belong to insisted that the length on those BNSF reefers was only 72 feet.  He did not notice that 72 feet is the inside length for loading, but the length over the coupler knuckles is 92 feet.
