Denver Union Station and Rice yard

As work continues we had a work weekend last week. And turnout was not too good as some of the crew had personal and work obligations to meet. So Sean and I carried on as we finish the siding in Longmont and turn the corner to head into Denver.

Model Railroad Club of Toronto... a year into the rebuilding process

The Model Railroad Club of Toronto has been rebuilding its O scale 2 rail Central Ontario Railway.

Having lost its long term lease in the now ultra trendy Liberty Village (old downtown factory district) in mid 2013, efforts have been underway to build a new version of the Central Ontario Railway.

Layouts at the Kansas City NG Convention

Here's photos from the layouts MRH has been visiting as part of the National Narrow Gauge convention layout tours in Kansas City. All the layouts in the area are on tour, not just the NG ones.

Progress Update

At the beginning of the month of August, I got stuck with how to wire the LED panels for both the 4 Bluepoint manual turnout controllers and the two panels (one on each side of the peninsula) that I needed for the 2 Tortoise turnout controllers. With the help of several MRH subscribers pointing me in the right direction, I was able to get that task completed as shown in my previous blog posting.  This posting will show progress made on the construction of the support structure for the main level of my layout.

Maryborough Layout

My former Model Railway Club, Australian Model Railway Association, Victorian Branch, Has built several excellent Portable Exhibition Layouts over the years most of which I had something to do with the construction and operation. The latest is a HO scale model of Maryborough Station on the Victorian Railways Broad Gauge network. Maryborough is a Regional town of about 8000 people in Central Victoria 140 Miles from Melbourne.
