JMRI Java problem when trying to Build Train

I am using the current version of JMRI and I can use most options but after using for three years I can not build trains.  I reset a train and click the build button and get the following JAVA error.

Any ideas on how to get past this error?

Here in the Springfield, MO area we have Homasote in the 2 new Menards stores. If you are in the midwest area you might check with them to see if they carry it.

Silver Streak Bobber (was: Removing letters from wood)

So I have this "Silver Streak" wood bobber caboose, in the "Ma & Pa" scheme... I want to keep the colours of the wooden sides, I just want to remove the "Maryland and Pennsylvania" lettering, while preserving the red paint (I don't want to have to try to match the paint)

Any tips on removing lettering from a wood side kit?

Sound files for Rapido SW1200RS

Has anyone run two SW1200RS Locos together, one with the factory-installed Rapido sound file and the other with a "stock" ESU file?  Do they "notch up" in sync?  Do they work well together, assuming you change the various CVs in the ESU file like Matt Herman has posted elsewhere?
