Detail part sources - Brake wheel housing in HO
I'm looking for a detail part (30 of them, actually) for a kitbash. It's this brake housing:
I've got the end detail printed, but that brake housing is not part of the print. I thought it'd be an easy find, but I haven't located anything in the detail part world. Does anyone know of a source?
Thanks
Blair

The most likely winning layout design
This is the design that I have decided will be most likely be built. They say no battle plan survives the first shot, so it is probable that I will end up modifying it once I start building. There were several other ideas that clearly I liked including the Fairmont Belt Line and the Virginian layout, but I know the WM a bit better, I discovered that I still own some WM equipment from 15 years ago (I remember how well those Stewart F7s ran) and the GC&E branch is appealing to me. There are also new WM engines coming soon, including state-of-the-art F7 and RS3.
Need help with Quantum Sound Decoder
I have a Sunset Models 2-6-0 Mogul with a Quantum Sound Decoder.
I ran it recently via JMRI and Sprog3 Command Station, and played around with the function keys on my EngineDriver throttle. At some point certain functions stopped working, and the engine would no longer drive.
Since I had a roster in JMRI with the decoder information, I decided to reset the the decoder, which appeared to work fine, with no error messages, and the decoder appearing to provide proper feedback after rewriting each CV (e.g. engine was nudging forward after each write step).

Layout accessories via 3D printing
I'm in the process of installing some operator comfort features to the layout like armrests and beverage holders. I found a neat holder online and a friend printed several for me.

The N Scale Credit Valley Railroad (v4.0)
Here I go again. My old apartment had water leaking into the unit for the 3rd spring in a row, so I decided to move.
I just moved into a new place on June 1st 2019.
I now have a 14x9 room and will attempt to recreate the Credit Valley Railway from Orangeville south to Cheltenham circa 1900.
I will be trying to keep all the features of the old layout, 8 station stops, 6 industry locations 4 farms, and a spot for a circus.
Good luck to me, LOL
Pictures to follow.
Bachmann Spectrum Dash 8-40C DCC running issues
Hello everyone,
This is my first post here. I am having issues getting Bachmann Spectrum Dash 8-40C locomotives running in DCC. I bought six of these sealed, in the unopened original packing box (a 6-pack) several years ago. They are the newer Spectrum locos with the larger box, with the frame and shell separated.
