HO 10' Plug Doors
Over the year, I often found out many excellent RTR models would be a good starting point for some project, however, they would need replacement doors, namely 10' plug doors.
converting a faller cement plant into a feedmill

Mailing Packages
Folks,
It is my understanding that both "stamps.com" and "usps.com" have on line services where you can establish an account, then print out mailing/shipping labels and also appropriate postage (stamps). I guess I said that right - I've never done this before.
The whole idea of doing this at home and giving the outgoing package to our letter carrier is a lot more appealing than going to the post office and standing in line....

The use of craft paints - First rate video
I know most of the US modelers are lost since the demise of Floquil paint.
Many things have been said about the subject and I don't ask to reopen the debate.
These video's by Jason Jensen on You tube will close the debate for sure.
Setting up my test track onto my desktop
Hi,
My name is T.J. Purdy and I am a model railroader trying to convert from DC to DCC. I currently trying to connect my DCC test track to my computer ( desktop). I am using all Digitrax equipment. I have a DCS 51, a PR 3, a LNWI and two LNC 82 loconet cables. What program do I need to download onto my desktop and how do I hook up my test track to the computer so I can do some programming on my desktop? Can you please help me get converted to DCC? Thank you very much.
Frustration - Painting light colors like white and yellow
Dear MRHers,
I've always enjoyed weathering, but hate painting. However, my current structure project(s) are proving to be particularly painful as they involved the color white. I find light colors (white, yellow, and some reds) are always hard to apply, particularly as I don't use an airbrush.
(Is an airbrush a magic-bullet solution for always-good paint coverage?)

Need some mechanical advice
I need some advice: I'm using G-scale switch stands to throw my HO scale turnout points. There's an adjustable set screw at the bottom of each stand where a cable attaches to the open end (seen on the right in the photo attached).
DCC++ shields compared
I've discovered just how poor the performance of the default Arduino motor shield in a DCC++ Base Station is and the fact that there are great alternatives out there. Fast forward to the conclusion: skip the L298-based shields and go to the other shield suggested in the documentation (Pololu MC33926).

Central Vermont Paint Color
I'm actually planning to repaint and custom decorate diesel locomotives in Central Vermont Green & Yellow paint scheme from the 1980s. However, I have a hard time finding the right color.
Does anybody have an idea which color or mix is suitable for the CV Larson Green?
