NS vs Brass

Why is nickel silver better than brass? My understanding is that the oxidization from NS conducts electricity better than brass. I have also read where it is because NS oxidizes much more slowly than brass, Is it either or, a combination of both, or something totally different?

Hello All

Theres a DCC system called Sprog II it's a 1.5 amps built in the UK works with JMIR for DCC, like a portable programer system also you can program your loco's right at your desktop pc There are only a few hobby shops handling it in the USA , can anybody give me some insite on this product?

Mandatory Paypal?

I just placed a $70 internet order with Tam Valley (Yes, I previously mentioned MRH).

I was given a choice of credit card or Paypal. (the option of useing a check was not mentioned) I selected credit card. It seems Paypal was running the purchase anyway, Paypal took over and told me I had an account with them and I should use it. I repeated that my choice was credit card. (all of this with mouse clicks - no human contact)

Scenery - Structures

I bought the Model Builders Software Video for Windows. So far I haven't built anything and it does have a learning curve. Not a hard one but it does have it's steps and you need to learn them.

I'm not in the Model Building stage right now but I did a test of the soft ware and there are a few ready to build sample structures you can print out in your scale and then assemble.

Bachman GP35 CSX 4402. Is it based on a real prototype?
