?? Figures for an Ice House Platform??

Anyone have a suggestion for figures for an ice house platform. I seem to remember seeing some somewhere loading ice into reefers. Or was that a dream I had?
Appreciate any leads and/or suggestions.

Hanging signs from buildings

Hi,

All over the city you see these little A-framed steel structures holding hanging signs.  Does anybody know if these are available in kit form?  Anybody have any tips or plans for scratchbuilding the little guys?

Walthers offers one on the top of the hobby shop in this kit but I am unaware of them for sale separately:

Thanks in advance for any help!

Building an Island Model Works South Shore/NICTD Coach + Dunes Junction Blog Back From Hiatus

The Up Dunes Junction blog is back to regular posts after an extended hiatus caused by work and real life. Some downtime after a breakneck run of travel and other excitement have given me a chance to re-start modeling projects and share my railroad-related thoughts via the blog.

JMRI Operations - cars are getting extra length?

Hi all,

I'm just setting up JMRI operations for my layout, and I'm getting a bit of a bizzare error:

As you can see, the error message is telling me that the car is 24 feet long, whereas the actual length entered in the car details is 20 feet.

Bowser's Perley's are just about sold out

Quick update- the RTA marked versions (the green cars) are just about sold out according to Bowser's website.  They still have versions marked for other systems, in case anyone's interested in doing a little kitbashing.
