Coupler for an RS10
I have an N scale True Line Trains Gold series Loco that now has a broken coupler. I have not gotten too far into changing all my couplers over to Micro Trains yet so I am not all that familiar with them yet. I looked at the conversion sheets on their site but nothing is mentioned for True Line Trains. Can anyone assist me in getting the right one for this loco?
Thanks
Peco Code83 turnout American style
Has anyone out there used Peco code 83 US style turnouts?
Why I ask is I would like to know how RP25 110 wheels go through the frogs - any wheel drop issues?
Canada Starch Tank Car
To All: Here is a project I finished recently. I will use this Canada Starch tank car to serve Union Starch & Refining on the layout. The decals were custom made for me by Ricky Rupp of Modern Rails Company. Yours, Elvin Howland/E. St. Louis Rail Group Layout

Copying MRH articles
I'd like to be able to save an MRH article to my computer so I can read it offline after I've read the rest of the particular issue and deleted it. Articles like making trees, I'd like to be able to keep an article for future reference. I know I can print them but that seems like a waste of paper. Is there a way to save individual articles?

P.S. Please forgive my choice of topic and subject. I get messages that tell me I can't post an article if I use MRH as the topic.
Pembroke II: North Section Ballast - One Step Forward?
I didn't quite get to the point where the Posse could start laying rail when they (in the form of Andrew, Julian being in transit, Jim being MIA and Chris being a thespian) descended upon my garage last night. Even so, we did have a productive evening of ballasting.
Lesson learned: Backdrop
I am building a switching layout in three 4-foot sections so that it could be taken apart and moved if necessary. This is the first time I have built a backdrop, so it was a bit of a learning experience. I used the usual 1/8 inch hardboard in 24" x 48" pieces mounted on 1" x 2" lumber.
Using a Sonic Cleaner for cleaning older switches.
I have a collection of 100 Shinohara switches in a box. All have the aged/corrosion appearance to the rail, all are used and some still have some ballast attached between the rails.
With so many, can I drop those into a sonic cleaner to renew/polish? Has anyone done this?

How do YOU model fall corn fields??
Hi,
Sorry it's been a while!
I'm a huge fan of fall and plan to have my layout and modules set in that season right around color and harvest peak. One of the first challenges that springs to mind is how to realistically model dried corn still standing in the field ready for harvest. I would like to try my hand at modeling this myself rather than purchase commercial ones that can add up fast when you plant a lot of rows.
So, I would love to hear everyone's technique on how to do this!
