Trackwork
Crossover Help
I started to get my wiring done for staging but having trouble with a Walthers Double Crossover. I've not wired frogs before, got lucky I guess, but starting to think I may add just for security, any thoughts?

Team track
Looking for some ideas for details for my team track area that is in a small branch line terminus during the mid fifties. So far I have an oil drum/garbage can, tires, barrel, and a forklift.
Locktite Power Grab - Remove?
So, I made a rookie mistake... even though I've been in the hobby for over 30 years. I out-smarted myself thinking that my track plan was "final" and used Locktite PowerGrab to attach my track to the cork roadbed.
Has anyone had any success getting this stuff to give up its grip? So far, the few locations that I've tried to rework wound up with me destroying said piece of Atlas code 55 track.
Ideas?
PECO Electrofrog double-slip turnout wiring and diode-matrix control?
This is a bit of a "dummy check" question to make sure I understand how these work. It has four wiring connections, when held horizontally, one at each end for the "main frogs" and one on each side for the "side frogs". The frogs on each end are wired to the switch machine contacts (or Frog Juicer) on the opposite end, the side frogs don't change polarity so just go to the track bus wires?
Railway Engineering Co
I recently had occasion to order from Railway Engineering. I've bought from them before and been pleased with the products. This time there was a problem with the order and when I brought it up with the vendor with a polite email I received a response that was erroneous, vulgar, and insulting.
There could be two or three reasons for the vendors outrageous response, but the end result is I won't buy from him any more. I'm posting this so others will know to be cautious.

Querying space between tracks in small yard
Querying space between tracks in small yard.. photo below is what I planned but compared to the 2nd photo I seem to have to put the tracks closer. what would be best practice here.

Peco Spring Replacement
Where is a 'GOOD' video (and/or drawing) that details the replacement of the spring in a Peco code 100 turnout?
Using google nowadays gets you so much disinformation after suggesting only 1 or 2 videos,...and many of those are not very well done. I guess a lot of folks just want to get 'published', and they talk, and talk, and, talk without giving really good instruction.
I need some close-up shots to tell exactly where the spring ends reside.

The Value of a Friend's Honest Opinion / Rail Color Correction
When I visited my good friend Michael Rose the other day we were discussing rail colors and he said "I don't like the rail color on your layout - it's too red." My layout does have two different rail colors where I switched from ??? color which was a more reddish color to the Tamiya XF-64 Red/Brown color which is a little browner.

Coloring Track Ties (Sleepers) and Rail
I had been asked posters Al Carter and James B in another thread about the process and products that I used to color my ties (sleepers) and rails. I didn't want to hijack N Scale Boiler's thread so I'll outline the process I use on my rails on my Richlawn Railroad.
