How do I obtain a certian color "temperature" with RGB LED's

Playing around with RGB 5050 Led strips and I know I can change the voltage to each leg to vary the over all color.

I am either going to do this with an Arduino or for the moment just adjust the voltage to each leg to get the color I like.

My long term goal is to go from daylight to a light blue for night time ops.

What my question is:

What combination of voltages and or Arduino values for each leg to get close to 5000k - 5500k.

I have a Front Range GP9 I bought in, label says 1987. I have never run it. I have an idea for it. Are front Range engines good runners? It has a can motor, flywheels, 4 axle pick-up. Only thing I have read about was about the cab window being too low or something like that. It should be easy to put a DA-SR decoder in it. SO, my question is, are they good runners and worth the effort? Thanks, Brian

Where are the MRH Podcasts ?

Where are the MRH Podcasts? Not the link to Itunes. I don't use Itunes.

I see lots of people talking about Podcasts but no actual, clickable link that takes me to a podcast.

I don't use Itunes. I have an Android device.

Many posts here say that you can download them in MP3 format. I haven't seen any posts that actually provide a clickable link to an MP3 podcast.

So where are the podcasts?

If I were to obtain same, what would be best non-Athearn chassis to use, giving correct overall length,

wheelbase, truck side frames? Am sure someone, somewhere has done this. Open to suggestions. Thank

Conductive glue

Has any one used this adhesive? I have a ME turnout that my frog led has come off ( poor solder joint). I can reach the solder pad on the ME from under the layout, ply and foam, I'm trying to avoid a tearout on the top side of my yard. Any help appreciated.

Dollar Store

Was reading on30guy post about earring backs being used as street lights and was wondering what else people have found at the dollar store. For me, I use their craft paint, and paint brushes. I use their necklaces as chains, if you look close, some have chain links not just loops, and paint them black, lost of chain for a dollar, just tell them it's for you granddaughter. I have also found a container of black sand for sand sculptures that I use for coal, smells funny though.
