Thanks,

Model RR club needs members
My name is Stephen Fletcher. I am a member of Rockville Centre Model Railroaders, a club located in, (of all places), Rockville Centre, New York, a town on Long Island. The street address is 200 Sunrise Hwy. We have been at this location for over 45 years. The name of the railroad is The Sheepshead Connecting Lines, as it was started in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn. The railroad is HO scale with 90% hand laid track and turnouts, there are 5 DC mainline cabs and 3 separate local cabs for switching towns.

AVG Antivirus and MRH - a PSA
First thanks to Jeff and Joe for getting back to seeing MRH again, it's been about a week since I had had a MRH fix.
Both on Firefox and Safari I was getting an error message to get to any aspect of MRH. I would get this
"An error occurred during a connection to model-railroad-hobbyist.com. PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR "

Allagash Railfan films coming to TMTV and MRH!
Hey guys/gals
In another thread Joe made mention of a new Allagash video coming to TMTV and to the MRH Store in September. I wanted to give you some more details.
I want to emphasize that beginning with the to-be-released video to TMTV, I'm on a path toward recording every corner of the railroad from the perspective of a railfan. I started to do this a few years ago with a two-part Allagash Railfan Video Series, but I feel very confident in saying that this recent effort takes things to the next level..

Not Silenced After All (was Silenced Again)
Moderation on this board is deplorable. I posted a *polite* request to a user to stop their bad behavior, it was seconded less politely by another user, and then the mal-actor posted an impolite response. My post and the second post were deleted but the impolite response was left in place. I can't help but feel discriminated against.
P2K flat car kit with Owl Mountain Products lumber load
I recently starts building freight car kits that I had sitting around for 15 years plus. The layout has finally gotten to the point that I need to increase the freight car fleet.
Yesterday I was reading Tony Thompson's blog and found his technique for weathering flat car decks, so I figured I'd give the method a try and add some variety to my flat car decks. The site is at:
