recent e-mail roads and backdrops

Recent e-mail I received "roads and backdrop"s with absolutely awesome pics will not load now. Anyone else have this problem. Just keeps directing me to mrh dec log on.

Layout Design

Please critique the proposed layout design.

The layout area is 19' x 21" and is to be located in my garage. The garage also serves as a workshop for my woodworking. As anyone who has done woodworking knows, it can create a lot of dust, massive amounts of dust. With that in mind I do plan on building a permanent top that will serve to provide lighting and a part of the cover.

Changing my signature

Now that I switched to a new HO layout I would like to change my signature. As far as I know this will also change the signature on my old posts. Is there a way to avoid this?

How to use a Bowser DUMMY streetcar?

I went to the Bower site, an advertiser listed as a new sponsor in the November 26 MRH email.

Bowser lists some PCC streetcar units described as dummy (-- souvenier --), priced under $40.00. How can they be used in modeling prototype operation? I didn't see any couplers.

Or are they just for display on yard track, in car barns, etc.?

Version 6.1 12/15/2012
1. Added a description field to the truck file.
2. Switch list may now be printed to an XML file.
3. Added Print List button to DCC/CV window.
4. Added Loco DCC address report with query option.
5. Switch list header fields labeled for better clarity.
6. Added the assigned loco information to the timetable schedule.
7. Added to Timetable routing type "Turn".
8. Departure and Arrival locations can now be the same.
9. Changed menu term from Freight to Rolling Stock.

I have a Wye Junction on My layout which resulted in the dreaded section of track with opposite current which requires a couple of dpdt switches or an auto reverse module.

My Girlfriend bought Me an MRC Auto Reverse Module for My upcoming Birthday {Dec 24th} but She let Me have it today. What a Lady! Guess I'll keep Her around!!

Cow Poo

I am developing a small steam era layout that will have a stock yard. I was thinking what does a stock yard have besides cows, is Cow Poo! Anyone have any ideas on making realistic manure ? Also how do you model hay bales?

Since this is the 30's they would have to be square bales.

How come when I try to change my email address it won't allow me to use a gmail account? I have tried multiple times and it won't allow me to change it. What gives?
