Easy Model Railroad Inventory upgrade is available
Version 6.4 3/20/2013
1. Added "Assigned to Train" flag to rolling stock & loco report designer.
2. Added "Assigned to Train" flag to rolling stock & loco as report designer query option.
3. Adjusted "Available" check box relative to "Print Car Card" check box to avoid overlap.
4. Added a Report Designer/Query Designer option to the Schedule group.
5. Removed the status field from the Timetable file.
Nuke the Spam contest?
What about a "Nuke the Spam contest"? Maybe give away a free MRH T-shirt for the person that nukes the most spam postings on this site in one month? I know that it gives unfair advantage to retired persons and "armchair modelers" but it would be fun! I just nuked two more!
Confused New Replies counter ?
I have been noticing several occurrences of the new replies counter not being reset after reading a new posting.
A great gift idea for your modeler friends? - video!
I was just thinking ( a rare thing for me!) - what about making a video of someone's layout as a gift for that person? Ask that person's permission first and if they want the results "public" (Youtube) or "private" (maybe burn them a DVD). If you own a camera car that's the same scale you could shoot some cab view and mix it with passing shots and still pictures of scenery. I know I've seen a number of RR videos of layouts shot by others.

Scale size street lighting
I need recommendations for HO street lamps. I had some Model Power lights but they did not look right. No wonder the base is a scale 3 feet in diameter.
Does anyone have a better solution? I currently have the Woodland Scenics non working metal castings that really look correct. But do not light.
While I am at it stop lights too. Era is 60's to 70's, local rural/urban.

Suggestion for helping Newbies to post images and videos in these forums.
Some forum posters and all Newbies aren't aware of the help topics MRH has for posting images etc in these forums.
Would it be possible to insert links in the "Post New Comment" box to the MRH Help topics that posters could click on to find out how to post images etc into their posts?
